“I took my time to decide on whether I wanted to do Maya Bazaar. I was skeptical initially as I had not done such a role in Telugu films before. But producer Satyanarayana Garu (who had earlier produced Missamma which fetched Bhumika acclaim) convinced me about the project. When I read the script a couple of times, I started seeing myself in the character. I play Anupama, a sweet, simple girl full of life. She helps people a lot. The film is not a love story per se — it’s a fun film.” — Bhumika Chawla
